ETLAW Honored Tennessee’s Supreme Court at its Luncheon on May 6, 2015.
On May 6, 2015, ETLAW hosted its annual Supreme Court Luncheon honoring the Tennessee Supreme Court. This year’s Luncheon was the most attended in ETLAW history with 140 East Tennessee judges and attorneys attending to honor the work of our Supreme Court. All five Tennessee Supreme Court justices attended the event, along with other members of the judiciary representing the appellate courts, local and surrounding trial courts, federal district court and federal bankruptcy court. Chief Justice Sharon Lee’s keynote speech was a call to action to the legal profession to set the standard for all professions and make gender equality a top priority. Knoxville attorney Mary Miller received the prestigious Spirit of Justice Award with past-President Jamie Ballinger-Holden receiving the President’s Award for her outstanding service to ETLAW.
